There is a lack of activities for children in the Khao Lak area and even on Phuket Island, they are not widespread.
The Mobile-Cinema will be an open air program-cinema for children and even adults. It will be available for children and in the late evening, adult features after sunset. It can also be used in dark rooms during daytime.
The team can also organise Karaoke parties for children and adults during the day.
The Mobile-Cinema Team will consist of 2 qualified people (1 Thai, 1 Foreigner). The Team will plan, organise and manage and realize these children/teenager/adult cinematic activities. They also will provide guidance for volunteers and teach/train locals.
Non rated Films with an educational value or a good message, will be shown.
The team will also organise and realize multimedia presentations about different themes (Aids, Child-education, monetary problems, information about other cultures for children …– upon request from schools, organisations and communities). Daily reports will be written.
What do we need?
1. The team needs a car with enough storage space for the equipment.
2. A DVD-Unit with DVD-Player and powerful LCD-Projector and Big-Screen
3. A smaller party-tent to cover their equipment.
4. 4 microphones wireless + stands, amplifier + loudspeakers and mixing console
5. Long Power and Loudspeaker-cables
Personnel – per Mobile-Team:
1. 1 Thai Employee (10.000 – 15.000 Baht /month)
2. 1 Foreign Employee (30.000 – 40.000 Baht /month
