TSUNAMI REPORT

Here is another update about the situation in Phuket. It might be in German,
so another in English will follow later - or the other way round.

The live behind the first road seems to be normal. In the beach road it
looks like many bombs had been exploded. But the cleaning seems to be very
fast with a lot of manpower.

Meanwhile the tourists - most of them - joining the normal PATONG live - SEX
- Bar - Drinking and some are taking fotographs or go swimming (especially
the families with children)

An Austian complained yesterday, that there wasn't any beer after the wave
and that the hotels are not able to manage the situation. Also tourist are
reporting after their flight back home that they didn`t had anything to eat
or dring. This is really bullshit - according to the phuket situation. There
was always enough to eat and to drink - but perhaps NO BEER and perhaps also
NO MAC DONALD or other Junk-Food. I am really angry about this bad talking
about the situation here in Phuket.

The live here in Phuket looks like normal if you don`t go to the beachroads.
The restaurants are full. Unfortunately many BIG hotels like CLUB MED and
other shut down their business and transported the people elswhere. They can
do this because they have expensive insurances for this case. But if the
tourists are leaving the island and also if tourists comming back home are
reporting the worst cases of their dreams which never happened then no
tourists are coming back to the island and this will be the biggest
catastrophy.

IF SOMEONE WOULD REALLY LIKE TO HELP US HERE ON PHUKET, THEN PLEASE SPREAD
THE WORD, THAT EVERYTHING IS WORKING AND THE BEACHES ARE ALREADY CLEANED -
EVEN THE BEACH ROADS OF KATA, KARON, and RAWAI, NAI HARN. THE HOTELS ARE
WORKING TOO. IF A BIGGER HOTEL HAS STOPPED THEIR SERVICE LOOK FOR THOSE NICE
AND VEN CHEAPER ONES LIKE EDEN RESORT IN PATONG and other. They are situated
50 Meters from the beach and are OK!
